About

Kate has been a resident of Roeland Park since 2015. She graduated from Kansas State University (Go Cats!) in 2007 with her bachelors in Psychology and moved back to the Kansas City area to begin her career in commercial insurance. Not long after moving back to Kansas City she attended Avila University and received her Masters in Organization Development.

Kate has volunteered with several different organizations over the years, including Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN), Ronald McDonald House, Lazarus Ministries and Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). She is currently serving on Roeland Park’s Racial Equity Committee.

Kate and her husband, Mark, love to watch the Chiefs, Royals and are a house divided when it comes to college sports. They have two small dogs and can be found taking walks around R Park or throughout the neighborhood.
